Frequently asked questions

What does a full-service removal company include?
A full-service move includes packing, wardrobe cartons and mattress covers, dismantling and reassembly of furniture, blanket-wrapping, transport in a fully-insured lorry, box placement in the correct room, and removal of packing waste. Apex includes all of this plus £50k goods-in-transit and £2m public liability insurance.
Do removal companies dismantle and reassemble furniture?
Yes. Beds, flat-pack wardrobes, tables, garden furniture and modular sofas are dismantled at the old address and reassembled at the new one as part of every standard Apex quote — no extra charge.
Do removal companies unpack for you?
Full unpacking is an optional add-on. Our crew returns the day after move day to unpack boxes into cupboards and take the empties away. Usually £120–£280 on a 3-bed move.
