- Contact details. Name, phone number, email address, moving and destination addresses.
- Move information. Property size, packing requirements, dates and access notes.
- Payment details processed via our regulated payment provider (we never store full card numbers).
- Website usage. Cookies, IP address, browser type and pages visited (see the "Cookies" section below).
How we use your information
- To prepare quotes and deliver the removals, packing and storage services you request.
- To communicate with you about your booking, invoicing and after-care.
- To meet our legal, accounting and insurance obligations.
- To improve our website and services.
Lawful basis
We rely on contract (to deliver your move), legitimate interests (to run our business securely) and consent (for optional marketing, which you can withdraw at any time).
Who we share it with
We only share personal data with trusted partners who help us deliver our service. For example our insurers, payment processor, IT providers and (for international moves) shipping partners and customs authorities. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
We keep customer records for up to seven years to meet UK accounting and insurance obligations, then securely destroy them.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to marketing communications. Email office@apex-removals.co.uk and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
