Rated excellent by Southampton movers

Southampton's most trusted name
in home & office removals.
From 2-bedroom properties to 5+ bedroom family homes, Apex Removals Southampton delivers the same standard the whole group is known for. Uniformed crews, branded fleet and a fixed price agreed upfront, never changed on the day.
Serving customers across Hampshire and beyond, our directly-employed teams plan every detail from your first call. £2M public liability cover, £50k goods-in-transit protection and a dedicated coordinator on every job because moving day should feel calm, not chaotic.
House removals in Southampton
House moves in Southampton come in every shape. Two-bed terraces off West Quay, family houses out towards Ocean Village, and everything from period cottages to new-build estates across the SO14–SO19 area. Your local team plans the day around the reality of your street. Parking bays, narrow stairs, permit zones and school runs all factored in before we arrive.
Our uniformed Southampton team pack, load, drive and unload themselves. No agency labour. No last-minute subcontractors. That's how we've kept a 4.9 rating on Trustpilot and why families across the SO14–SO19 area keep recommending us to their neighbours.

Office & business removals in Southampton
Businesses across Southampton trust us with everything from a single-floor studio move to full multi-site relocations spanning Bitterne and beyond. We start with a walk-through of your SO14–SO19 premises, map every workstation and IT dependency, then build a phased plan that keeps your team trading.
Our goal is simple. Log off Friday at the old address. Log on Monday at the new one. We pack in the evening, transport overnight using our M27 J3–J5 & M271 access, and have your Southampton team fully operational for the next working day.

Professional packing. Or a free packing kit
Choose full-pack, part-pack or fragile-only. Whichever suits your Southampton move and your budget. We wrap ceramics, mirrors, artwork and electronics to a standard that assumes the worst road surface. So a bump on the West Quay cobbles or a pothole near Ocean Village never becomes a claim.
Prefer to pack yourself? We drop a free packing kit to your SO14–SO19 address ahead of move day. 10 sturdy double-walled boxes, packing tape, bubble wrap and kitchen roll. Everything you need to protect the contents on the journey.

Secure storage in Southampton
Storage bundled with your Southampton move works out cheaper than sourcing a self-store unit separately. The same crew loads your home, drives it back to our secure facility via M27 J3–J5 & M271, and delivers it to your new address the moment you're ready.
Every container is sealed in your presence, labelled with your name and photographed for the inventory. When you're ready for delivery anywhere across Bitterne or the wider SO14–SO19 area, the same team returns everything in the same condition it went in.

Answers for Southampton
movers.
Everything you need to know before booking your move. From notice periods to parking permits. Still unsure? Our Southampton team is a phone call away.
01How much notice do you need to book my move?+
The more notice you give us the better. But with an extensive team and fleet across Hampshire, we always try to fit customers in at short notice too.
02How long does a house move take?+
No two moves are the same. It depends on your property size and the distance involved. A typical local move is packed in the morning and unloaded in the afternoon.
03Can you dismantle and reassemble furniture?+
Yes. Many items travel more safely dismantled. If something is specialist, an instruction manual helps us reassemble it correctly at the other end.
04Can you disconnect kitchen appliances?+
We can disconnect washing machines. Ovens must be uninstalled and reinstalled by a qualified professional for safety and legal reasons.
05Should I arrange parking permits?+
Yes please. If there are restrictions at either address, permits let us park close and keep the job moving fast. Your local council issues visitor permits. Often within a day or two.
06My access isn't suitable for a large lorry. Can you still help?+
Absolutely. If the road is narrow or parking is limited, we'll use several smaller vans instead. Just flag it when you request your quote.
